Lakeshore Entertainment CEO and chairman Tom Rosenberg announced on Tuesday (February 2nd) that his company will re-team with writer/actor Kevin Grevioux and award-winning special effects designer Patrick Tatopoulos on I, Frankenstein. Production is slated to begin this July.

I, Frankenstein is a contemporary fantasy thriller in which the original monster of Victor Frankenstein is humanities only hope, standing in between the human race, and the supernatural dark creatures that have risen to overthrow the world.

Grevioux and Taopoulous have worked together since Underworld: Rise of the Lycans and the upcoming film is based on the Darkstorm Studios graphic novel of the same name.

Tatopoulos commented to SuperHeroHype: “It is a privilege to be given the chance to direct this highly visual piece. Kevin Grevioux has created something truly special with ‘I, Frankenstein’ and I couldn’t dream of a better team than my friends at Lakeshore to make this project happen.”
