You will not find tax forms and instructions in your mailbox anymore.
More than 96 million people filed their returns through the IRS online service last year, and another 20 million filed paper returns through paid tax preparers. So many people now file electronically, starting this year, the Internal Revenue Service will stop mailing the forms.
The IRS expects to save about $10 million a year by eliminating mailing. People who want to file paper returns will be able to obtain the forms from the IRS website, its offices, or public libraries and post offices.
