Ed Jacobs, chief designer at Confederate Motorcycles, stands with the P120 Fighter at the manufacturer's display at the New York Auto Show. Confederate, a long-time purveyor of boutique bikes that appeal to riders who march to the beat of a different, individualistic drum, introduced an all new engine-integral frame for its Hellcat series of performance bikes.

This frame, called CX3, uses the engine as a stressed member to form an ultra-lightweight foundation for the next Hellcat. Called the C3 X132, it'll be available this October. More details can be found at Confederate's website.
