Ed Jacobs, chief designer at Confederate Motorcycles, stands with the P120 Fighter at the manufacturer's display at the New York Auto Show. Confederate, a long-time purveyor of boutique bikes that appeal to riders who march to the beat of a different, individualistic drum, introduced an all new engine-integral frame for its Hellcat series of performance bikes. 

BMW's first real entry into the superbike class was introduced in New York. The menacing S 1000 RR produces 193 horsepower, which is more than the original BMW M3! This 404-pound rocket redlines at 14,200 rpm and puts the power to the road through a six-speed transmission. Pricing has been set at $13,800.
